
THE HIRSHORN MUSUEM
So today mom and I went to the Hirshhorn to go on a tour with dad. The Hirshhorn is actually a pretty interesting, cool place. If you go, there are two things you must make sure you don’t miss. As for the tour – dad walked through several rooms and talked a lot…so for me it was less of a novelty. It was impressive to watch mom, as she’s gotten very good at feigning interest when dad talks. Apparently all of the art we saw was by Anselm Kiefer. He obviously is into big planes and books made of lead – which is pretty cool, but they were all drab and grey. There were no words in the books, but I don’t read, so that’s probably the kind of books I would make too. Well, no. I’d have striped books and striped big planes. A striped fountain…? hmmm…
